If you are wondering where the clouds in my header image come from, this is the original picture. I took this shot in Zion National Park, Utah, December 2010 at dusk. I had never been there before, and the Zion landscape is completely inspiring. If you like this shot, you may also like these.

A couple of years ago I was in Bryce canyon, and planned to go to Zion, but snow was forecast, so we headed to the Oregon Coast instead. I have wanted to go back since. Beautiful photos!
Thanks so much. I was “lucky” when I went – I suffered through nearly a week of rain in the West, which caused a lot of damage, but the Zion waterfalls were in rare form when I got there on Christmas Day. It was a once in a lifetime thing.
